Nastaetten is located in the hills of the western lower Taunus, between the rivers Rhine, Main
and Lahn. The countryside is characterised by smooth hills covered with forests (30%) and
agriculture, and a lot of sprinkled little villages in it.
Nastaetten is the center of the "Blaues Laendchen" (blue countryside), which name is
resulting from the blue colour of the former flax-woven clothing there.
Nastaetten is also very close to the finest parts of River Rhine, with the famous sites of
